Li Bing took me on a tour of Heshun village -- it is the most wealthy "suburb" of Tengchong, and is quartered of into 5 sections, corresponding to the five extended families that live here. This is the view from the pagoda at the top of the hill between Tengchong and Heshun. |

A view from next to a vegetable garden... notice the bamboo tower in the middle -- that's a children's swing. The little white blip on the hill is the pagoda over look, and Tengchong is behind the hill. |

Another view, you see walls like this all over the place. Walls generally don't have windows, so light in a home generally comes in from a small open courtyard behind the wall. |

The scene at the temple gate. Live orchestra, delicious vegetarian cuisine, and Mah Jong tables set up inside. |
